Subramanyeswar serves as the Group CEO of MullenLowe Lintas Group and also holds the positions of Chief Strategy Officer for Asia Pacific and Head of Global Planning Council at MullenLowe Group. He has amassed more than 25 years of experience in advertising and marketing, with previous roles at Wipro, Publics, Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi in India, the US, and the UK.
He has overseen marketing for a range of notable brands, including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Colgate, Citibank, General Mills, Samsung, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Tea, Tanishq, Idea Cellular, Britannia, Google, Flipkart, Fastrack, Swiggy, ZEE, TVS, and many others. He has twice been named "South Asia Planner of the Year" by Campaign magazine, and has authored and won 142 awards at various events including India Effies, APAC Effies, Global Effies, Asian Marketing Effectiveness, WARC, and Jay Chiat by 4A's.
Subbu has played a pivotal role in leading MullenLowe Lintas Group to become the top agency in India and APAC, and second globally on the Effie Index ranking. The group has won "Agency of the Year" multiple times at India and APAC Effies, as well as Tambuli, Campaign South Asia, Ad Age, and WARC, with Subbu spearheading strategy leadership.
In addition to his work in advertising, Subbu is a regular columnist, a passionate educator, and a visiting faculty member at esteemed business schools such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Nagpur in India, as well as Kellogg School of Management and MIT Sloan in the US. He has also spoken at numerous business and marketing forums worldwide, including SXSW in Austin, Texas.
