S. Subramanyeswar is the Chief Strategy Officer at Omnicom India, with over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry in markets across India, the UK, and the USA.
Prior to this, he served as the Group Chief Executive Officer at MullenLowe Lintas Group, Chief Strategy Officer at MullenLowe Global Asia Pacific, and Head of Global Planning Council at MullenLowe Global. Over the course of his career, he has also worked with organisations such as Wipro, Publicis, Rediffusion, Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Subramanyeswar has about 150 accolades under his belt from global advertising festivals like the Effies APAC, Asian Marketing Effectiveness, WARC, as well as the Jay Chiat Awards by the 4As (American Association of Advertising Agencies). He has twice been titled “South Asia Planner of the Year” at Campaign, and has also served as Jury Chair at the Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Excellence in 2021 and 2022, in addition to judging the IPA Effectiveness Awards (UK), APAC Effies, AME, WARC, and India Effies.
Under his leadership, MullenLowe Lintas Group became the #1 agency in India and APAC, and #2 globally in the Effie Index ranking. The agency was also awarded “Agency of the Year” multiple times across platforms such as Effies APAC, Campaign South Asia, Ad Age, and WARC.
