Runvijay Paul

Runvijay Paul is an acclaimed photographer known for his versatility across fashion, street, and people photography. A graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, he has developed a signature visual style rooted in storytelling, observation, and a sensitivity toward the human experience.

Originally from Patiala, Punjab, Runvijay began his photographic journey as a self-taught artist before pursuing formal training at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication (SACAC) in New Delhi. Mentored by renowned photographers Raghu Rai and Nitin Rai, he learned that great photography lies not in distant locations, but in the ability to see profoundly—within people, moments, and everyday surroundings.

With a career spanning over a decade, Runvijay has collaborated with leading fashion brands such as Roadster, Koovs, and Camla, contributing to campaigns that blend aesthetic depth with commercial appeal. His editorial work has been featured in Vogue India, Harper’s Bazaar India, and Elle India, among others.

In addition to his fashion work, Runvijay is widely recognized for his evocative street and documentary photography. His images have been showcased at prestigious venues including the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, and the International Center for Photography in New York City.

Now based in the United States, Runvijay's approach continues to emphasize photographing with honesty and emotional clarity while being rooted in Indian origins.
