Ravi Deshpande is a well-known Indian advertising professional and the Founder and Chairman of Whyness Worldwide, an advertising and design agency. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the Indian advertising industry.
Deshpande began his advertising career with Contract Advertising in 1983 and has worked with several leading advertising agencies in India, including Lintas and Lemon. He founded Lemon, an advertising agency, in 1994, which was later acquired by Publicis to become Publicis India. In 2013, Deshpande founded Whyness Worldwide, which has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and New York. Deshpande has created several award-winning campaigns for brands such as Cadbury, Volkswagen, and McDonald's, among others. His work has won numerous awards, including several Cannes Lions, D&AD, and One Show awards.
Apart from his work in advertising, Deshpande is also an accomplished artist and has held several exhibitions of his paintings. He is known for his creative leadership and his ability to inspire and mentor young talent in the industry.
