Rajesh VR is the Chief Executive Officer at Ogilvy India, the country's largest and most awarded integrated communications agency.


Having started his professional journey in 1997, Rajesh joined Ogilvy in 2004, and has since contributed significantly to the agency's campaigns and milestones. From 2018 to 2022 he was heading the agency's Mumbai and Kolkata offices. He was then appointed group president in 2022, and a year later, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the India operations. His appointment as Chief Executive Officer coincided with adman Piyush Pandey taking on the role of chief advisor of the agency.


Rajesh's leadership style is characterised by empathy, curiosity, and a proactive approach. He believes in fostering a culture of continuous learning, and his ability to adapt to change has played a crucial role in solidifying Ogilvy's position as an industry leader at the intersection of innovation and compassion.


His command over his vision is strong, and his ideas aim to shape not only Indian advertising but also notions and perceptions of society at large. His clientele includes household names like Fevicol, Vodafone, Brooke Bond Red Lable, Asian Paints, and Cadbury Dairy Milk.
