Raj Kamble

Raj Kamble is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Famous Innovations—an independent creative agency he initiated in 2013.

After graduating with a gold medal in BFA, Commercial and Advertising Art, from the JJ School of Applied Arts, Raj started his professional career in 1997, as an art director at (then called) Lowe India. He carried this designation to MullenLowe London, which was then followed by his eight-year-long stint at MullenLowe USA as the Vice President, Creative Director. Before founding Famous Innovations, he briefly served as the Senior Vice President, Creative Director at BBDO New York.

Over the past 25 years, Raj has created campaigns for brands like Stella Artois, Unilever, Nestlé, P&G, Diageo, Vaseline, Burger King, and Google, winning over 150 international awards including multiple Cannes Lions, One Show Golds, D&AD Pencils and Clios.

Some of Raj's most recognised work are Raymond 'The Complete Man | Being There', Burger King #WrapsWithoutGaps, Haier #SilentPerformers, Baggit 'Put it On the Table', Caratlane 'The Roomies #EverydayLove', HRX #KeepGoing' and Doms 'Masterstroke'. His clientele also includes brands like Burger King, AB Inbev, Titan, Mahindra, Nestle, Platinum, Van Heusen, and D'Decor.

Under his leadership, Famous Innovations has been titled the Agency of the Year at Campaign South Asia for 10 consecutive years from 2015 to 2024.

In addition to his advertising career, Raj has also graduated in Cinematographt and Film/Video Production from the New York University. Beyond advertising, Raj actively contributes to academia and policy. He lectures at institutions like Kellogg School of Management and Columbia University, serves as Director of Miami Ad School India, and is part of a government think-tank driving India’s digital future. Most recently, he has been elected to the Boards of Governors at IIM-Kozhikode, MIT-Pune, and NID-Haryana.
