Ragib Metin Okutay

Ragib Metin Okutay is a seasoned colorist whose career spans more than 10 years, marked by collaborations with acclaimed directors and cinematographers across Turkey and India. A graduate of the Istanbul Bilgi University, Ragib began his career at Istanbul’s 1000 Volt Post Production, where he had the rare opportunity to work during the final years of the negative film era. Assisting in telecine and Baselight sessions alongside internationally renowned colorists, he developed a refined visual sensibility that continues to shape his work today.

In 2013, he co-graded the award-winning feature Sivas and graded Song of My Mother, both celebrated on the international festival circuit. His portfolio expanded to include high-profile commercials and music videos using Baselight, Pogle 2K, and DaVinci Resolve.

Since joining Nube Studio in Mumbai in 2017, Ragib has graded more than 1,000 commercials and music videos, bringing cinematic depth and emotional resonance to campaigns for Hyundai i20, WhiteHat Jr, Bata Shoes, Hershey’s, Mountain Dew, and many others. His work reflects his belief that color is one of humanity’s most primal artistic expressions—an extension of our visual capacity and consciousness.

He is also associated as an official member at Colorist International Society (C.S.I). Outside the grading suite, Ragib is an avid photographer, videographer, scuba diver, skier, and traveler, always seeking new perspectives to inform his creative vision.
