Raghu Bhat

Raghu completed his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and started his career as a management trainee in Berger Paints. However, he left to pursue a career in advertising, thinking that any job that allows you to wear jeans and chappals to work can't be too bad.

In 2010, he co-founded Scarecrow Communications which was ranked among the Top 16 Independent Agencies in the World in 2015. The agency now manages creative, digital, and social media duties for 30 clients, including Lactalis Groupe, Mahindra Trakstar, Reliance Jewels, Policybazaar, Zee Group, Du Pont, Sony Sports, Alcon, Tourism Australia, and many others. Scarecrow was acquired by the UK-based M&C Saatchi network in April 2018, becoming its 28th global office.

Raghu has created famous taglines like "Sell anything Quikrrrr," "Photo Khench," "Quikr pe Bech," and "MSP" (Quikr), "KILB" (Kam Insurance Lene ki Beemari for Aegon Religare), "Kaam aisa karo jisse paseena choote" (Emami HE deos), "Pehli Mulakaat" (Wagh Bakri), "Baaki AC ki taisi" (Haier), "Khushiyon ki Home Delivery" (Dominos), "Insight out" (Business Standard), "Sona Mana Hai" (Sony Sports), "Cricket Without Boundaries" (Sony Cricket), "Kal kya banau" (Zee Khana Khazana), and the Yatra.com web-check-in ad featuring "Kanhaiya".

He has also created well-known campaigns such as the 'Lalten' TVC for Cadbury Celebrations, 'Aam chori, chappa chhori' for Vaseline, 'Budget Shaadi' for Asian Paints, 'Hometown' for Yatra.com, 'Wedding Night' for Hanes, and 'Mom' for Royal Enfield. His work has earned him over 100 awards at prestigious shows such as Cannes Festival, D&AD London, One Show New York, Clio US, Communication Arts, Abby, and Goafest.
