Purvagna Patel, more commonly known as Micu, is the music composer behind the tracks of some of the most memorable and iconic commercials of Indian and international brands like Airtel, MakyMyTrip, M.A.C, Myntra, Zomato, Maybelline, Garnier and Manish Malhotra among countless others.
In 1999, he landed his first job as an Assistant Sound Engineer. After a two-year apprenticeship, he began his solo career as a Sound Engineer at Famous Studios in Mumbai. Over the course of 10 years, Micu gained extensive knowledge and experience, leading to new opportunities to work with top Directors in the industry. He had a passion for creating their own compositions, which came to fruition when they created their first music composition for a TVC in 2008.
In 2010, Micu was given a humble yet challenging surprise when asked to recreate the Indian National Anthem, resulting in the project, known as "The Silent National Anthem," which created a wave within the nation and was a huge success. It received high praise from the industry, friends, and peers, and went on to win three awards at The Cannes Film Festival.
