Purvagna Patel, known professionally as Micu, is a renowned music composer behind some of the most iconic commercials for brands like Airtel, MakeMyTrip, M.A.C, Myntra, Zomato, Maybelline, Garnier, and designer Manish Malhotra.
Starting his career in 1999 as an Assistant Sound Engineer, Micu spent two years in apprenticeship before becoming a sound engineer at Famous Studios, Mumbai. Over the next decade, he built deep industry experience, and in 2008, ventured into composing his first TVC score.
In a landmark moment in 2010, Micu composed the music for “The Silent National Anthem,” an emotionally powerful campaign featuring deaf and mute children expressing the national anthem through sign language. The ad resonated deeply, earning one Silver Lion and two Bronze Lions at Cannes Lions 2011.
