Preeti Machat is the Co-founder and Executive Producer of Still Water Films, a production company she established in 2007 along with her partner Jerald Packiasamy.

She began her career working as an assistant to renowned filmmaker Rajiv Menon, where she honed her craft for six years before embarking on her own journey as a producer. Under her leadership, Still Water Films quickly gained recognition, winning a Bronze Promo Lion at the Cannes Lions in 2008.

Over the years, Preeti has built a portfolio across diverse genres, producing acclaimed campaigns such as Parachute’s Kalpavriksha, Zomato’s Too Tired to Cook, Tata Play’s Gully Cricket, Amazon’s When a Woman Shops, Maaza’s Bench, and Netflix India’s Ilaiyaraaja x Stranger Things. Her work is marked by a balance of creative insight and emotional resonance.

Preeti has collaborated with brands including PepsiCo, HUL, ITC, Airtel, Amazon, Canon, ICICI Bank, Honda, CEAT, Asian Paints, Zomato, and many more,
