Prasoon Joshi is a renowned Indian lyricist, poet, screenwriter, and advertising professional. He is currently the Global Chief Creative Officer of McCann Worldgroup and Chairman of McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific. Joshi is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the Indian advertising industry.
Joshi began his advertising career with Ogilvy India in 1992 and has since worked with several leading advertising agencies in India, including McCann Erickson and Leo Burnett. He has created memorable campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, and Perfetti Van Melle, among others. Joshi's advertising work has won numerous awards, including several Cannes Lions, D&AD, and One Show awards.
Apart from his work in advertising, Joshi is also an acclaimed writer and has penned lyrics for several Bollywood films, including Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He has also won several awards for his literary work, including the National Film Award for Best Lyrics.
