Prashant Madan

Prashant Madan is a Mumbai-based director, writer, and photographer with over 25 years of experience in television commercials, short-format television promos, and occasional reality shows.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Symbiosis, Pune, and was awarded the Piyush Pandey Scholarship to pursue the EMBA programme at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, Germany.

Prashant spent 14 years in broadcasting with leading networks such as CNBC, Sony Entertainment Television, UTV, and Disney before transitioning to directing commercials and short documentaries in 2014. Over the course of his career, he has won more than 55 creative awards and has received numerous nominations at advertising festivals worldwide.

With a flair for crafting commercials that resonate while maintaining strong visual aesthetics across all projects, his notable work includes LinkedIn – Insecure, Enerzal – Letters to My Son, BYJU’S – Celebrate Curiosity, Aashirvaad Aata – Roti, UTV – Dancing Colours, Bata – 24/7 Ready, Swiggy – Koko with a K, Tanishq – Little Big Moments, and SBI – The Daydreamer, among others.

Over the years, he has collaborated with a wide range of brands including LinkedIn, BYJU’S, Aashirvaad, Bata, UTV, and Tanishq, to name a few.

Beyond his professional work, Prashant runs The Audacious Project, where he designs events that challenge human potential. In 2017, as part of this initiative, he cycled 6,000 kilometres from Mumbai to Bangkok, becoming—along with his cycling partner—the first Indians to achieve this feat.
