Porus Vimadalal is an award-winning photographer and creative director whose work spans editorial, fashion, and commercial photography. A graduate in fashion design as well as a professional pilot, Porus found his true medium in photography: translating his understanding of color, texture, and form into emotionally rich and visually stylized imagery.
Since becoming professionally active in 2012, his lens has captured campaigns and lookbooks for designers like Miuniku, Bodice, Gaurav Gupta, SHIFT, and HUEMN, and global brands including H&M, Ajio Luxe, Gunam Beauty, and Jaipur Rugs. His editorial work features regularly in Vogue India, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ South Africa, and Verve among others, with ELLE India naming him Photographer of the Year in 2016.
Porus’s global perspective is informed by years spent living and working between India, the U.S., and Canada—blending diverse cultural influences into a unique photographic language. His images often explore softness and strength in tandem, focusing on people, fashion, and the subtle emotional energy within his frames.
He frequently collaborates with his creative and life partner, Prayag Menon, who contributes styling and art direction to many of his projects.
