Pankaj Kumar ISC is an Indian cinematographer whose work bridges both advertising and feature films, bringing cinematic storytelling and visual depth to brand communications.

A graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he began his career on acclaimed projects such as Ship of Theseus (2012), Haider (2014), and Tumbbad (2018), the latter earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematography.

In advertising, Pankaj has collaborated with brands on campaigns, including Byju's Exam ft. Shah Rukh Khan, Volini Maxx with Virat Kohli, and Levi's with Deepika Padukone, to name a few.

His commercial work is marked by cinematic quality, narrative-driven visuals, and a keen understanding of brand storytelling. Alongside his advertising work, Pankaj has contributed to long-form narrative projects, including the horror series Khauf for Amazon Prime Video. He is also set to serve as Director of Photography on the upcoming feature Ramayana (2026). Across all formats, Pankaj combines technical precision with storytelling insight, making him a versatile figure in both the advertising and film industries.
