Offroad Films, founded by Khalil Bachooali in 2011, is an independently-owned production company known for its bold, emotionally resonant, and socially conscious advertising.

Over the years, it has built a reputation for crafting powerful, thought-provoking narratives that extend across a wide range of genres—from PSAs and educational films to beauty, beverage, and narrative-led commercials.

Their work for Whisper’s “Early Periods” campaign, entered by Leo India, received two honours at the Good Ads Matter Awards 2025, winning a Gold in the Creative, Films for Good category, and a Bronze in the Best Ad (Online) category under Creative Film.

With a roster of directors onboard, the company brings a sharp visual sensibility and a strong sense of purpose to each project, often amplifying messages that matter. Offroad Films has earned critical acclaim both in India and internationally, including four Cannes Lions and recognition at festivals like Clio and Spikes Asia.

At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2026, Dove – Reclaim Your Curls received Silver for Direction – PSA Advertising.

Some of their notable campaigns include P&G – Bindi, Vicks – #TouchOfCare, Levi's – We All Move featuring Deepika Padukone, Ariel – Share the Load, Dove – Beauty Beyond Boundaries, Whisper – Open House, Axe – Bullet Lift, and Tata Tea – Vote for Change. Over the years, they have collaborated with brands including Vicks, Gatorade, P&G, Lakmé, Levi's, PhonePe, Jeep Compass, and WhatsApp, among others.
