Nupur Pai

Nupur Pai is currently a screenwriter at Netflix, Prime Video and Amazon Studios, as well as a freelance advertiser and brand consultant.

After graduating in Commerce and Management from Narsee Monjee College, Nupur starter her career in 2013 as a copywriter at FCB, and later moved to Publicis Groupe as a copy supervisor. She then joined All India Bakch*d as a comedy writer, where she honed her craft in writing witty, socially aware content that entertained while sparking conversation—a foundation that continues to shape her distinctive comedic voice today.

This was followed by her stint at CRED as a freelance creative specialist—where she penned the brand's IPL advertising campaigns, 'Not Everybody Gets it', and 'Great for the Good' ft. Rahul Dravid. Nupur has also served as a brand consultant to Bumble.

Among her work are also the Bumble Regional Films, and CRED 'Buzzkill' ft. Leander Paes; as well as screenplay for Netflix Original 'Little Things'—for which she is the co-writer of seasons 3 and 4—and Amazon Prime Original 'Modern Love: Mumbai'. Additionally, Nupur has also been a Tedx speaker, imparting industry insight and glimpses into her creative process.

Across her journey—from advertising to comedy to global streaming—Nupur has consistently demonstrated an ability to engage audiences with originality, wit, and emotional depth.
