Neel Adhikari is a celebrated composer, singer-songwriter, and music director whose work spans OTT platforms, film, independent music, and advertising. Trained in Indian classical vocals from the Bishnupur Gharana under Pt. Santanu Bandyopadhyay and in audio production under Miti Adhikari (UK), Neel brings a rich melodic sensibility to his compositions.
A pioneer in independent music from Kolkata, Neel fronted acclaimed bands like Five Little Indians (FLI) and Neel and The Lightbulbs, and curated the impactful “The Open Mic” at Someplace Else, nurturing India's indie scene.
He gained widespread recognition for his scores on OTT series such as Little Things, Ludo, Feels Like Ishq, Hasmukh, Afsos, and more, with his music available across Netflix, Amazon, Voot, and similar platforms.
Notably, he won two Filmfare Awards—one for Tasher Desh (2012) and another for the background score of Shaheb Bibi Golaam—alongside a Radio Mirchi award for the latter.
Neel's film and digital credits include Gandu, Garbage, Tasher Desh, Bose: Dead/Alive, Kia & Cosmos, Why Cheat India, Afsos, Thinkistan, and more. He also released the Four Little Things We Did EP in 2024, showcasing his continuous evolution as an artist.
