Mithila Saraf is the Chief Executive Officer at Famous Innovation, an independent creative agency founded in 2013.
After graduating in Bachelor of Science, Media, Culture & Communication and Economics from New York University, Mithila started her career in 2011 at CNN-IBN. She then worked with the likes of Washington Square News and NBC, before joining Famous Innovations in 2012. She then steadily grew in the company across various roles like Brand Planner and Business Head, being promoted to her current role in 2022.
Mithila is proactive in taking strong stances on trends, culture, gender equality, societal stereotypes and conversations, always pushing conventions through her narratives and fresh approach. She has worked with brands like Raymond, Mahindra, Titan, Van Heusen, Budweiser, Unilever, Zivame, and Swiggy. Notable campaigns under her belt include Raymond 'The Complete Man | Being There', Burger King #WrapsWithoutGaps, Haier #SilentPerformers, OPPO 'Live in the Moment', American Tourister 'Everyone's In', HRX #KeepGoing' and Doms 'Masterstroke'.
Under Mithila's leadership, the agency has won several international accolades at festivals like the Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show and Spikes Asia. Notably, they have been titled the Agency of the Year at Campaign South Asia for 10 consecutive years from 2015 to 2024.
She represented India globally at Cannes Young Lions 2016 and 2017. She was also nominated as the South Asia Young Achiever of 2016 and 2018 by Campaign South Asia. An IMPACT 30-under-30 winner, she was featured in AdAge Rising Stars under 30. Mithila is regularly published in advertising media like Campaign, IMPACT, Adage, etc.
