Karan Mally is a Mumbai-based casting director, producer, and actor whose work spans feature films, web series, advertising, and streaming content. Having begun his career in casting before establishing himself as an independent casting director, he has collaborated with some of India's leading filmmakers on acclaimed cinematic and digital productions. He is also the co-founder of Petrichor Films.


In 2025, Karan was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a member of its global film community, recognising his contribution to the craft of casting. He was among the Indian invitees that year, alongside Kamal Haasan and Ayushmann Khurrana.
