Karan Kulkarni is among some of the most sought after music composers in the advertising industry.
After completing his Bachelor's degree in Music Production/Sound Design from Queensland University of Technology, Karan Kulkarni returned to India and entered the advertising industry, where he composed music and background scores for numerous ads.
He has worked with some of the most renowned production houses like Footloose Films, Coconut Films and Conversation Films, and for some of the most exciting brands like Google, Vodafone, Star Sports, Flipkart, Titan Industries, Honda, Vasan Eye Care, Lifestyle, Parachute, Amazon, and TBZ, among others.
Alongside his work in advertising, Karan also ventured into the film industry by assisting music director Amit Trivedi on movies such as Ishaqzaade, English Vinglish, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Trishna, and Aiyya.
He eventually worked as the music composer for movies like Shahid and Aligarh, which received critical acclaim. In 2017, he contributed to the background music of the movie Tumhari Sulu, featuring Vidya Balan in the lead. His 2019 release includes Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, directed by Vasan Bala.
