Career: Kabir Bedi began his career in Indian theatre before moving on to Hindi films. Between 1968 and 1972, he served as the Film and Radio Chief at advertising agencies like (then) Lintas, and Ogilvy. In 1990, he initiated his role as the Master of Ceremonies for national, international and corporate events, which includes the Royal Salute, Budweiser Youth Event, Mahindra Excellence Theatre Awards, Mauritius Film Festical FICCI, 25 Years of ZEE TV Celebration, etc. Kabir has since been acclaimed as an international actor and voice-over artist—starting his own production company, BEDINATION, in 2018.

Additionally: Kabir Bedi was born on 16 January 1946 in Lahore, British India (now Pakistan). His father, Baba Pyare Lal Singh Bedi, was a Punjabi Sikh author and philosopher descended from Guru Nanak, while his mother, Freda Bedi, was the first Western woman to be ordained in Tibetan Buddhism.

Kabir has been a voting member of the Oscars Academy since 1982. His autobiography, Stories I Must Tell, became a national bestseller and won awards at the Venice Film Festival and Amazon Books.

Beyond acting, Kabir supports social causes as Honorary Brand Ambassador for Sight Savers India and Care to Action Italia.
