John is a senior colourist at ChEAT, a renowned production company.


Jonny's naturalistic approach to colour grading has led him to collaborate with prestigious clients such as Adidas, Net-A-Porter, Burberry, Lurpak, Nike, Netflix, and Toyota. As a versatile and creative colourist, he boasts a diverse portfolio, approaching each project with unwavering passion and enthusiasm. His commitment to bringing out the best in the material while honouring the essence of the photography sets him apart.


Jonny's impressive list of graded promos spans various artists, including Nina Simone, Stormzy, Arlo Parks, Louis Tomlinson, Bastille, The 1975, and Liam Gallagher. Notably, his groundbreaking work with DoP David Wright on 'Inglorious' for Slowthai, shot digitally and printed to film, earned them awards for cinematography and colour grading, cementing Jonny's reputation as an innovative and highly sought-after colourist.


With accolades at Kinsale and Thunderdance, Jonny has also made significant contributions to multiple BAFTA-recognised short films. Notably, 'Roy' featured in the BAFTA 2022 longlist, 'Love Languages' appeared on this year's BAFTA Best British Short longlist, and 'An Irish Goodbye' clinched the Best Live Action Short Film Academy Award and the Best Short Film BAFTA, further solidifying his position as a distinguished colourist in the industry.
