Gautam Reghunath is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Talented, a young agency rewriting the rules of Indian advertising—founded in 2022, alongside PG Aditiya, his colleague at his prior stint at Dentsu Webchutney.
Gautam started his professional journey in 2007, as a management trainee at Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi, later moving on to Dentsu Webchutney as an Account Manager, where he stayed for the next 12 years, promoting to Chief Executive Officer. He played an integral role in shaping the agency's footprint in the advertising landscape, serving as the Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, he earned 27 Cannes Lions, and in 2022, the agency went on to become the first Indian agency to win the 'Agency of the Year' title.
Gautam carried his prowess on to Talented—the agency being known for not only great stories but also a business model that focuses on employee satisfaction as much as client satisfaction. The business model of Talented was driven by the idea of not only sharing profits, but of reinforcing the behaviours and principles that drive the agency's success.
Gautam has represented India at the Cannes Lions as a guest speaker multiple times, speaking about creativity, work culture, and building brands.
Some of Talented's notable work are Urban Company 'Chhota Kaam', 'Chhoti Soch' and 'Chhoti Baat', Britannia 'Nature Shapes Britannia', IGP 'Main Samay Hu', Knorr India x Netflix, Metro 'Takes You to the New'. Both their campaigns, Swiggy 'Why is This a Swiggy Ad?', and Cleartrip 'Or Travel On Cleartrip' have won a Silver in Media at the Cannes Lions in 2023. Talented's brand portfolio also includes MakeMyTrip, Homelane India, Google, Flipkart, and XYXX Crew.
