Effie Awards Germany

The award was created in 1969 by the American Marketing Association to highlight the most effective advertising efforts. In 1981, the GWA was the first international licensee to bring the Effie to Germany. Since then, the Effie story has not only been a success story in this country. The Effie is currently awarded in 57 countries and regions worldwide based on comparable criteria.

The Effie has a special position among the awards in the industry and directs the focus to what really counts: the effectiveness of communication and its value contribution to corporate success. In addition, the Effie is the platform for exchanging ideas about marketing effectiveness with experts from clients and agencies, from market research, science and the media.

General Eligibility/Rules:

Agencies, companies and institutions from the entire spectrum of marketing and brand communication and from every industry. All marketing activities carried out in Germany during the qualifying period are eligible.


Each case can be submitted in a maximum of one category.
