Dhawal Tandon is a music composer and producer hailing from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Rooted in Indian classical music since the age of six, his approach to composition is deeply influenced by his early training. Under the tutelage of ghazal maestro Ustad Yugantar Sindoor, Dhawal trained as a ghanda bandha shishya for over five years, honing a strong foundation in traditional music. His professional journey expanded further when he worked for more than seven years with ace producer Sameer Uddin, assisting on high-profile commercials and feature films.

In 2019, Dhawal founded Arpeggio Studios, where he has composed music for a wide array of commercials and short films. His portfolio includes collaborations with some of the most exciting global and Indian brands such as Cadbury, Titan, Pepsi, Denver, Facebook, OYO, and CaratLane, along with impactful campaigns for UNICEF and WHO that achieved widespread recognition.

A versatile musician, Dhawal’s craft spans multiple genres, blending Indian classical, western, and electronic influences. His deep understanding of music theory, proficiency with instruments, and expertise in hardware synthesizers allow him to create unique and emotionally resonant soundscapes. With a close-knit team of accomplished instrumentalists and artists at Arpeggio, he extends his creative knowledge in music across advertising, film, and independent projects.
