Barbara Humphries

Based in Australia

Barbara has worked across major international brands including IKEA, Nike, UNWomen, Nestle, Cadbury, Qantas, and Berlei, as well as Australian brands Telstra, MLA and IAG Insurance. Barbara has also created bold attention grabbing campaigns for the Tuvaluan Government, and Uluru Dialogue - the main organisation behind The Voice to Parliament - advocating for an enshrined Indigenous Voice in the Australian Constitution.

In her current agency Barbara has helped the team win Australian Agency of the Year 8 times across 4 different shows, as well as B&T’s Agency of the Decade, and most recently, Effective Agency of the Year at the 2021 Effie Awards where her brand work for NRMA also received a Grand Effie. Prior to the Monkeys Barbara has worked at Wieden+Kennedy London and Publicis Mojo in Melbourne.

Barbara's work has also been awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, One Show, Webbys and New York Festivals, and she has also been on juries for Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clios and New York Festivals.

Passionate about nurturing young creative talent, Barbara has been a tutor and guest lecturer at D&AD Shift, AWARD School and AWARD craft course.
