Australian Effie Awards


The Effies continue to be regarded as the most prestigious awards in the Australian marketing communications industry and the true test of marketing excellence: 'You can’t beat effectiveness’. Introduced by the New York American Marketing Association in 1968, the Effie Awards have since become recognised by advertisers and agencies as the pre-eminent award in the advertising industry. It is now held in 51 countries around the world with 2 regional programmes as well as a global competition.


The annual awards are presented to recognise the year’s most effective advertising and marketing communications campaigns – campaigns that have delivered superior results in meeting the objectives they were designed to achieve.

General Eligibility/Rules:


Advertising campaigns that ran in Australia during the eligibility period are eligible for entry. Campaigns may have been introduced earlier but must have run during this period and have data relative to the qualifying time. More eligibility requirements regarding previous entries and case criteria can be found in the Entry Guide.
