Ashish Chakravarty is the Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Garage Worldwide, where he leads the agency’s creative direction and drives growth across digital, design, and integrated brand experiences. With over three decades in advertising, he is a highly awarded creative leader, known for shaping impactful and culturally relevant campaigns.


He began his career as a copywriter at JWT and TBWA, before moving through senior creative roles at agencies including Euro RSCG (now Havas), Publicis India, and McCann. Over the years, he rose to leadership positions such as Creative Director, Creative Head, and Vice President, eventually becoming Chief Creative Officer at Contract Advertising. He later returned to McCann Worldgroup as Executive Director and India Head of Creative, where he led the agency’s creative output and helped build some of its most recognised work.


Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of global and Indian brands, including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Microsoft, Reckitt, Asian Paints, Air India, and Britannia. His work has been recognised at major international platforms such as Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, D&AD, Spikes Asia, and Effies, with over 400 awards to his name.


In addition to his creative achievements, Ashish has been a regular jury member and jury chair at leading global and Indian award shows, including Clio, Spikes Asia, Adfest, and Effies, contributing to the industry both as a practitioner and a thought leader.
