Apeksha Maker is a photographer, filmmaker, and co-founder of 'The House of Pixels', a visual content studio known for crafting striking images and fashion films. Since launching in 2016 with partner Vaishnav Praveen, Apeksha has worked on high-profile shoots for celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Aditi Rao Hydari across editorial spreads, red carpet coverage, and commercial campaigns.
A mass communication graduate from KC College, Apeksha’s journey into photography began with travel and landscape shots taken on her phone, eventually evolving into a full-fledged career after studying at BV’s School of Photography in Pune. Her early experiences at Lakmé Fashion Week and collaborations with designers led her deeper into fashion photography, while her marketing instincts and technical discipline shaped her signature style—clean, expressive, and emotionally attuned.
Having directed films and photographed campaigns for both editorial and brand clients, Apeksha brings a unique blend of visual storytelling and entrepreneurial spirit to every project.
