Aparajita Biswas is the Head of Marketing at The Hindu Group, where she leads brand strategy, audience engagement, and integrated marketing for one of India’s most respected and influential media organisations.
With over 18 years of cross-industry experience across brand strategy, business operations, sales, and marketing, Aparajita brings deep domain expertise spanning media, telecom, beverages, and consumer experiences. She began her career in consumer-facing roles at Café Coffee Day and Carlsberg India, before moving into brand and communications leadership positions with organisations such as Moser Baer, Vodafone, and The Times of India. Before joining The Hindu Group six years ago, she served as Head of Brand Communication for the Tamil Nadu circle at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she led consumer marketing, storytelling, and brand positioning in a highly competitive telecom landscape.
At The Hindu Group, Aparajita’s remit spans holistic brand stewardship—shaping strategic narratives, driving audience growth across print and digital platforms, and strengthening the brand’s relevance in a rapidly evolving media ecosystem. She has been instrumental in establishing thought-leadership platforms and community-building initiatives, reimagining marquee events, and spearheading large-scale collaborative projects with governments, industry bodies, corporates, and leading brands.
