Anuya Jakatdar is the Co-founder and Chied Creative Officer at Bare Bones Collective, a new-age creative agency that boldly challenges traditional norms, breaking free from patterns.


Anuya started her career in 2006, as a consulting editor at JLT and Femina Girl, under Worldwide Media. She then moved to Viacom18 as the content and project manager, for a brief period. This followed by various creative stints at UTV Bindass, Star India, and Flarepath. Over the course of her career, Ananya went on working with Google, Reliance Jio, On Toast Media, and AIB, before ultimately starting her own ventre in 2022.


The business model of Bare Bones Collective—a mix of a small core team and a network of creative freelancers—is so developed in order to adapt to the contemporary work culture while addressing the often overlooked "burnout" in the industry, ensuring it benefits both brands as well as creatives working with them.


Anuya's train of thought and reasoning are driven by data, while her narratives and execution have a contemporary and creative edge to them—making her work both insightful and engaging.


Some of her most renowned work includes Urban Company 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', Cult 'Fitness is Not an Option' and 'Motivator-in-Chief', as well as YouTube 'GenZ Chudail' and Amazon Prime Video 'Jaggu Dada Mode', for both of which they bagged a bronze each at the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25.
