Anupama Ramaswamy is a Joint Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Havas Creative India and one of India’s most respected and awarded creative minds in advertising.
Her journey into the world of ideas began in an unexpected place: studying plant life during her college years. But her curiosity and passion for storytelling eventually led her to pursue an MBA and pivot to the advertising world, where she’s since become a powerful force.
With over two decades of experience, Anupama has held leadership roles in some of India’s top creative agencies, including Draft FCB, Rediffusion Y&R, Euro RSCG, Lowe, and JWT (now Wunderman Thompson). As the Associate Vice President and Senior Creative Director at JWT Delhi, she led major accounts such as Nokia, Pizza Hut, Frito Lays, GlaxoSmithKline, and Airtel, driving high-impact, insight-led campaigns.
Her creative prowess has earned her international acclaim, with wins at Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, New York Festivals, AdFest, Abbys, Spikes Asia, and a One Show finalist spot—making her one of the most awarded creatives in the Indian advertising landscape.
