ADFEST (Asia Pacific Advertising Festival)

ADFEST is Asia’s most celebrated regional creative festival. Founded in 1998, ADFEST is the ideal place for the creative industry to gather, network, exchange ideas, and be inspired. It is the annual creative festival not to be missed to stay at the forefront of the rapidly changing creative, marketing and production industries.

ADFEST not only raises the standard of creative excellence in the region, it also celebrates the uniqueness of local culture. It is a learning hub for those in the communication industry through showcasing of the region’s best creative works and inspiring content. It is also the perfect place to relax, learn, and meet new friends in the industry.

ADFEST is 1 of only 8 regional creative festivals included in the WARC 100 Creative Rankings.

General Eligibility:

  • Entry submissions to ADFEST are open to companies involved in advertising, communications, and production industry throughout Asia and the Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.

  • The company must be based in the region regardless of where the entry was designed, implemented, published or aired. Works created for clients in the region, but by companies based elsewhere are not eligible.

  • All Brand Communication must have been commercially launched during the eligibility period. Except: Works can be launched during the eligibility period. - Direct Lotus: Direct Campaign for Retention/Loyalty - Effective Lotus - New Director Lotus - Effective Lotus: Long-Term Creativity

  • Works that have entered ADFEST in the past years are not eligible, except for entries into: - Direct Lotus: Direct Campaign for Retention/Loyalty - Effective Lotus:

  • All Brand Communication must be designed for public exposure except: INNOVA Lotus: Innovation in Prototype Technology While entries submitted to Innovation in Prototype Technology do not need to be public, they must have at least been launched or tested to a small group of people and executed to some extent not merely a prototype idea. New Director Lotus: Portfolio Spot (ND05) & Film School

  • All Brand Communication must have been made within the context of a paying contract with the client, except: Self-Promotion sub-categories: for Self-Promotion or works for non-profit organisations, the works must be endorsed and approved by the client. New Director Lotus: Internet Film (ND04), Portfolio Spot (ND05), and Film School

  • Entries cannot be made without the prior permission of the advertiser/owner of the rights of the commercial or advertisement.

  • Entries which have infringed any of its country of origin's voluntary or regulatory codes of practice are not eligible. It is the responsibility of the entrant to withdraw such work immediately should an infringement arise.

Tentative Schedule: December - March


  • The entry free ranges between THB 13,000 to TBH 17,000 as it increases with the passage of deadline.

  • The INNOVA Lotus ranges between TBH 20,000 to TBH 24,000

  • For Film School (under New Director Lotus) the fee ranges between TBH 6,500 to TBH .8,500
